Oopz’s sophomore effort, Rejected Ambient Jerk-- Robot Villain Records--finds the enigmatic electronic musician composing from his heart this time and not from his manbits: trading the aggressive distortion and feedback of Industrial for the pops and bleeps of Glitch-Pop and IDM. As opposed to his debut effort, Idiot Box, the listener will not find any viscerally, sexually charged lyrics on this EP, but rather laments of love lost communicated with warm ambient nuances that caress your ears without punching you in the chest. Oopz has switched positions from raunchy doggy-style to sweet foreplay with what certainly is more of his Emo side, as indicated by clever double entendres such as "Hrtz", for hurts, and more literal song titles like "As Cold as Her Mechanical Heart".
